about

Back in the dusty days of 2011, Tiburoni released the first volume of the Skweee Shanties compilations. The comp featured a cheeky wee devil of a tune called "Dirty Clap" from the highlander himself: Radio Skotvoid. This latest joint release from RSVP and Tiburoni celebrates not just one or two but THIRTEEN different takes on the that track! A few Tiburoni regulars and some very special guests take part in the remix duties and to top it all off, the original track has been updated and treated to an amazing vocal addition from the one and only Reachout.

Now based in Boston, Scotty is well known as the host of this year's legendary Curios radio show on datafruits.fm . The show is on a well deserved hiatus right now, but Radio Skotvoid is deep in the studio coming up with some new jams. Until then, break open this grab bag of goodies and savour the flavour!

Castles are calling
Caledonian breeze
From Mountains I'm falling
Into freezing seas

Cinderella cantations
unicorns to their stations
Lilac matter liquid data
Elasticated rhythms
Sparkle beats you into vision
Sound waves glisten listen through the prism
Spectrum splitting color mixing
We be skweeezing best believing
Headdress swaying waistline weaving
Through ampersands and and signs
Loose lips and land mines
Over tree tops we vaulted
To plateaus exalted
River fresh from salted
Sunsets horizontal
Take a trip home it's dawn yo

Replication with a twist
Hot topic cooled by thunder
Thru secular noise
Art angels resist
Dream developing damsels
Create while you wait
With metallic type of paint
Drop opaque upon your acetate
See it and you get
Taste a trip don't forget
When senses run riot
Seek company of quiet
Into church seeps the truth
The the roof dissolve you dogma
Into rubicon river
From hither flow the hard way.

Tell your mama tell your brother
That we're gonna win the race
In the summer under cover
Girl I love to see your face
Tell the drummer tell the strummer
And don't forget the bass
That the song is never over
Cos we always in the place
In the cities in the seas
In the fields in the trees
The people are all equal
Everybody got to breathe
So don't forget the family
And you'll never be alone
Trust me in a moment
We gonna be back home
